It has been more than 60 years since SYSTRA has garnered expertise that spans the entire spectrum of Mass Rapid Transit System SYSTRA Indias valuable presence in India roots back to 1957 where SYSTRA worked on the electrification of Indian Railways Our technical excellence holistic approach and the tremendous talent provides a career that puts people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency Understand better who we are by visiting www systra in Context Our unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Our fully integrated services are tailored to plan and manage projects using proven best practices With the launch of the first line of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation DMRC in 2002 put SYSTRA on the map as a key partner for mass transit lines in the country and initiated a longstanding partnership with DMRC Since then SYSTRA has been involved in more than 80 of metro projects in India in all major Indian cities Ahmedabad Bengaluru Delhi Mumbai Pune Surat Nagpur Kochi and Hyderabad The collective team competence built up in the two decades in the metro business renders us capable of delivering innovative reliable cost-competitive Project Management solutions adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT GC FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT We are seeking application for the position of Senior Engineer-Design in Kochi Metro Project Missions Main Duties Review the previous and on-going related studies and data collected Review and approve conceptual drawings for viaduct at grade special bridge If any cross over long spans stations and other structures that would be submitted by the contractors Review and approve all the designs and drawings modifications calculations etc that would be submitted by the contractors Review all civil and structural designs submitted by contractors as per the contractual provisions including the calculations drawings specifications as required Coordinate with all experts staff related to Civil Structural Building Architectural works and Systems Profile Skills Post Graduate ME M Tech in Structural Engg from a reputed institution Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field out of which minimum 10 years experience should be in the design of elevated Metro Rail projects elevated rail based transit and should also possess design experience in at least one elevated metro rail project including foundation design Steel Concrete Precast Cast in Situ Excellent written and oral English communication skills Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization recognizing and respecting differences Ability to problem solve especially in an integrated project delivery environment applying industry best practices Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority Software STAAD E-Tabs AutoCAD We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure Its not a job - its a career
