As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing our healthcare interoperability platform. You will lead and support a team of 8 engineers, fostering their technical and personal growth. You&aposll be responsible for guiding the team through engineering initiatives and ensuring we maintain a high standard of quality. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing our OKR cycles, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.

This is a hands-on role; we expect you to spend 30% of your time contributing directly to the codebase, including conducting code reviews, creating technical proposals, and developing proof-of-concepts. You&aposll report directly to the Head of Engineering.

- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS
- Back-end: Java, Golang, Python, Typescript
- Front-end: Vue 3, Typescript, Nuxt

What we&aposre looking for

- 5-10 years of software engineering experience (some exposure to Golang being a plus).
- Proven experience as a team lead or manager, with a clear passion for leadership.
- Balances a focus on both people and execution, while remaining hands-on around 30% of the time.
- A growth-oriented mindset, committed to giving and receiving direct, constructive
- feedback that pushes yourself and others to grow.
- A decisive leader, blending empathy with accountability.
- You are based in the Bangalore area and able to come to the office at least once a week.
