Position : Team Leader - Independent Engineer (IE) cum Project Management Consultant (PMC)

Experience : 15 years in total 10 years in Collection & Transportation of Solid Waste

Location : Chennai

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Team Leader shall continuously monitor, on daily basis, the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)and operations of the project activities, authenticate the daily reports submitted by the Concessionaire and generate its own report for checking of the Concessionaire's report and satisfy itself and report to Authority.
- Shall monitor the progress of project with respect to procurement of project moveable assets and their technical specifications;
- Shall monitor the deployment of required project staff and manpower for the project operation and ensure reasonable absorption of existing casual/temporary workers of the Authority
- Shall assist the Authority in issuing of wellness/ worthiness certificates for movable assets for handing over to the Concessionaire.
- Shall assist the Authority, wherever required in administration of the Concession Agreement(s)in full and in accordance with applicable laws;
- Shall attend Project Review Meetings (PRMs) with the Authority and the Concessionaire, to be held at least once in every two weeks during the procurement and handover Period to report on progress and quality of work performed by the Concessionaire and to discuss problems or other pertinent matters relating to the work.
- Review and approve test results on solid waste, materials, vehicles and/or equipment used;
- Review work which fails to comply with the specifications and requirements of the Agreement.
- Review, approve or disapprove in consultation with the Authority, plan, report or any other document of the Concessionaire to enforce compliance and conformance with the requirements of the Agreement;
- Shall be responsible for certifying the quantity and quality of waste diversions to Decentralized Processing Facilities
