Key Duties and Responsibilities ● Team Leadership & Supervision: ○ Manage, train, and mentor a team of 3 Store Keepers. ○ Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. ● Inventory Control & Reporting: ○ Oversee inventory tracking using Excel, Tally, and Zoho Inventory. ○ Ensure accurate cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and approve inventory adjustments. ● Process Optimization: ○ Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material receiving, storage, and issuance. ○ Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, reduce handling times, and minimize stock variances. ● Coordination & Communication: ○ Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to prioritize material requisitions and resolve supply issues. ○ Raise critical shortages or delays to the Inventory Manager in a timely manner. ● Quality & Compliance: ○ Ensure proper handling and storage of space-grade materials in compliance with ESD and safety protocols. ○ Conduct periodic audits of records and physical stock; implement corrective actions as needed. ● Reporting & Documentation: ○ Prepare and present weekly inventory status and team performance reports. ○ Maintain clear documentation for inbound/outbound transactions, audits, and process improvements. Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. ● 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. ● Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Tally ERP, and Zoho Inventory. ● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Desired Skills ● Prior exposure to aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments. ● Experience with barcode/RFID systems and warehouse safety certifications. ● Ability to analyse data trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
