Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in New Delhi for a Modern Trade Sales Head at Param Dairy products with a pay scale of 12 to 14 LPA. The individual will oversee and drive sales strategies in the modern trade channel, manage relationships with key retail partners, and ensure widespread distribution of the company's dairy products. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, planning and executing sales campaigns, addressing customer needs, monitoring quality control, and achieving sales targets in alignment with company goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies for Modern Trade, Quick Commerce & E-Commerce channels. Manage key accounts such as Reliance, D-Mart, Spencer's, Big Bazaar, and online platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). Lead negotiations on margins, TOTs, visibility budgets, schemes, and promotions. Build strong relationships with category teams and buyers across platforms. Ensure consistent product availability, fill rates, and order execution. Analyse channel performance, sales trends, and competition to optimize growth. Plan and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Trade Marketing teams for smooth operations. Drive visibility, customer engagement, and online merchandising initiatives. Handle P&L for MT, Q-Commerce, and E-Commerce channels. Qualifications - In-depth knowledge of Dairy Products and the dairy industry. - Graduate/MBA in Marketing, Sales, or related field. - 47 years of proven experience in Modern Trade, Quick Commerce, and E-Commerce sales - roles (preferably FMCG). - Strong understanding of modern retail dynamics, online sales operations, and category - management. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to manage multiple key accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel & sales dashboards. - Proficiency in Customer Service and the ability to enhance Customer Satisfaction. - Experience in Quality Control and ensuring product compliance within the Food & Beverage sector. - Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills. - Proven ability to analyze market trends, develop sales strategies, and achieve business objectives. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications would be an advantage. - Prior experience in modern trade sales, preferably within the FMCG or dairy sectors, is highly desirable.
