Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, result-oriented, and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall business strategy. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills along with the ability to understand market trends, analyze opportunities, and convert leads into profitable business deals.Key Responsibilities1. Business Growth & Revenue Generation Identify new business opportunities through networking, research, and partnerships. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company growth targets. Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business deals. Explore untapped markets to increase revenue streams. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships. Understand client requirements and provide customized business solutions. Act as the primary point of contact between the company and clients. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely resolutions and support. 3. Strategic Planning & Market Analysis Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities. Prepare and implement effective business strategies to stay ahead in the market. Present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives with operational capabilities. 4. Team Leadership & Coordination Manage, guide, and mentor a team of Business Development Executives or Sales Associates. Set clear performance goals and monitor KPIs to ensure consistent results. Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and discuss strategies. Encourage a collaborative and target-driven work culture. 5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute digital campaigns, promotions, and events. Represent the company at trade shows, business events, and networking forums. Assist in branding, positioning, and business presentations. Ensure effective use of marketing materials to attract potential clients. 6. Financial & Operational Management Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and financial plans. Monitor profitability and ensure cost-effective business development activities. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability. Generate MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management.Required Skills & Competencies1. Business & Strategic Skills Strong knowledge of sales strategies, business planning, and client acquisition. Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable business plans. 2. Leadership & People Management Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve ambitious targets. Excellent delegation, coordination, and decision-making abilities. 3. Negotiation & Closing Skills Expertise in high-value deal negotiations and sales conversions. Ability to handle objections, challenges, and client concerns professionally. 4. Communication & Presentation Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches. 5. Technical & Analytical Skills Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business analytics platforms.
