Our Akamai Information Technology organization is a team of industry leading professionals. We are dedicated to owning and driving the innovation of Akamai&aposs Corporate Infrastructure. Included are Applications, Development, Security and Compliance for our customers and corporate stakeholders. Information Technology manages all aspects of the IT Program Lifecycle as well as the coordination and delivery of key cross-organizational strategic programs.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will have end-to-end accountability for delivery of projects and programs. You will lead strategic and complex programs from planning to sustainment, while reporting program benefits to key stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:

- Managing complex, cross-functional multi-year projects and programs
- Managing stakeholder engagement and expectations
- Presenting and reporting to all levels of the business from team members to executives
- Identifying risks and issues, demonstrating proactive problem solving in complex environments
- Defining detailed program / project plans and ensure team members are accountable for their activities
- Adopting best-practice guidelines and implement continuous improvements to PMO processes

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor&aposs degree in business management or its equivalent
- Have professional experience as a Program Manager, Business Analyst, or Consultant
- Have experience with implementing SaaS based applications and managing system implementation providers
- Be able to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment
