Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

- Minimum of 6 years of experience with data protection or storage software as an administrator, solution architect, or in client-server technologies.
- Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to clearly articulate solutions and options.
- Familiarity with complex software problems across multiple client and server platforms, including UNIX, Linux, AIX, and Windows.
- Experience with storage area networks (SAN), network protocols, cloud, and storage devices.
- Hands-on experience with storage virtualization is a plus.
- Flexibility in schedule and availability, including second shift and weekend scheduling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven experience in Linux/Unix system administration.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent organizational skills.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with backup solutions such as Spectrum Protect and Commvault

Knowledge of SAN/NAS, FC switches, and tape libraries.

Understanding of IT infrastructure and components used by backup or storage solutions.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
