Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Experience Required: 35 Years Industry Preference: Medical Equipment / Healthcare Industry Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 35 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment. Candidates with experience in the medical equipment manufacturing or healthcare industry will be preferred. The role involves product design, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and supporting production teams to deliver high-performance and reliable medical devices/machinery. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and modify mechanical components for medical equipment (e.g., OT tables, lights, sterilizers, hospital furniture, etc.). - Create 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo). - Work with R&D and production teams to improve product efficiency, safety, and durability. - Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, tolerance analysis, and stress calculations. - Assist in prototyping, testing, validation, and documentation as per medical industry standards. - Collaborate with electrical/electronic engineers and biomedical teams for complete system integration. - Ensure compliance with ISO, CE, and other regulatory standards applicable to medical equipment. - Provide technical support in troubleshooting and resolving production or product-related issues. - Participate in vendor development, cost reduction, and process improvement projects. - Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), SOPs, and project reports. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 35 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design or production. - Experience in the medical equipment or healthcare manufacturing sector preferred. - Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.). - Knowledge of manufacturing processes: sheet metal, machining, fabrication, welding, etc. - Understanding of sterilization equipment, ergonomics, hydraulics, pneumatics is an added advantage. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Good communication and team collaboration skills.
