Job Title Chief Manager Procurement Supply Chain Location Gurugram Job Type Full-time Function Engineering Procurement Supply Chain Reports To Head Procurement Supply Chain We are seeking a Chief Manager Procurement Supply Chain to oversee procurement operations vendor management and supply chain efficiency The role involves developing strategic procurement plans ensuring regulatory compliance optimizing supplier performance and leading the procurement team to meet organizational goals Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company objectives Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of goods and services Monitor supplier performance lead-time quality and cost-effectiveness Ensure compliance with relevant regulations laws and industry standards Collaborate with maintenance finance and supply chain logistics teams for seamless operations Negotiate with vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality and delivery standards Lead mentor and optimize procurement team performance Track procurement KPIs PO cycle times emergency purchases and spend under management Handle additional projects or responsibilities as assigned by leadership Skills Competencies Strategic procurement planning and vendor management Strong analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills Project management and multi-tasking capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Regulatory compliance knowledge in procurement Time management and team leadership abilities Experience with ERP systems and procurement software Key Performance Indicators Supplier performance defect rate lead time Procurement process efficiency PO cycle time invoice accuracy emergency purchases Cost management spend under management price competitiveness Compliance with regulatory requirements Key Interfaces Internal Head Engineering Procurement Monitor vendor pricing and procurement strategy Maintenance Team Evaluate material requests for scheduled unscheduled activities Supply Chain Logistics Team Ensure effective movement of parts Finance Ensure timely supplier payments External Vendors Suppliers Negotiate lead-time cost and quality manage vendor objectives Education Experience Requirements Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration Logistics Operations Supply Chain Management or related field Master s degree preferred Minimum 10 15 years of procurement and project management experience in an engineering environment Extensive knowledge of procurement laws regulations and processes Desired 15 years experience with 8 years in leadership ERP systems and aviation procurement experience Aviation Indeed does not charge any fees for interviews or recruitment from candidates Report any fraudulent incident to info aviationindeed com
