Job Title Manager Software DevelopmentSummary We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with expertise in the latest technologies including cloud computing artificial intelligence AI and machine learning ML In this role you will lead our engineering team providing technical guidance mentorship and hands-on leadership to deliver high-quality products and solutions You will drive our technical strategy collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships to achieve our business objectives The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities a proven track record of success in engineering management and a passion for innovation Join us and be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of technology innovation Senior Engineering ManagerPosition Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with expertise in the latest technologies including cloud computing artificial intelligence AI and machine learning ML Additionally they should possess exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and guide our team towards achieving our strategic objectives Responsibilities Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team ensuring adherence to best practices and standards Stay abreast of the latest technologies trends and industry developments in cloud computing AI and ML and incorporate them into our technical strategy You will also be driving and influencing the technical vision of the product Lead by example through hands-on involvement in architecting designing and implementing complex technical solutions Team Management Manage and oversee a team of engineers including recruitment performance management and professional development Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation creativity and continuous learning Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide regular feedback and support to ensure their success Project Delivery Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and quality assurance to deliver high-quality products and solutions on time and within budget Drive the execution of engineering initiatives from concept to delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements Identify and mitigate risks resolve issues and make decisions to keep projects on track and on schedule Technical Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy that supports the company s overall goals and objectives Evaluate and recommend technologies tools and frameworks to enhance our technical capabilities and drive innovation Work closely with senior leadership to align technical initiatives with business priorities and market trends Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including executives clients and partners to provide updates on project status technical achievements and strategic direction Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure that engineering efforts are aligned accordingly Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field Proven track record of success in a senior engineering leadership role with at least 3 years of experience Proficiency in building products from scratch and having in depth knowledge on Microservices Micro frontends Not restricting to one side of the tech stack e g UI only Backend only and being able to have depth and breadth of technologies Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Strong background or exposure to new trending technologies like artificial intelligence AI and machine learning ML GENAI Willingness to learn and experiment on such areas of scope Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential Exceptional problem-solving abilities strategic thinking and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Relevant certifications e g AWS Certified Solutions Architect Google Cloud Professional Architect are a plus Diversity InclusionAmadeus aspires to be a leader in Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the tech industry enabling every employee to reach their full potential by fostering a culture of belonging and fair treatment attracting the best talent from all backgrounds and as a role model for an inclusive employee experience Amadeus is an equal opportunity employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to gender race ethnicity sexual orientation age beliefs disability or any other characteristics protected by law
