a challenge and meaningful role youre in the right place About you and the role As a Controllers Technologist and Work Process Specialist WPS within the Mumbai Global Accounting MGA Cost Accounting Expertise Center CAEC in Airoli Navi Mumbai India you will be a Subject matter expert SME responsible for providing consistent superior cost accounting support and services to Cost Accountants and work process support to CAEC team members Key Responsibilities Month End Closing Generate and review reports for Cost Accountants using Diamond Systems Reporting SAP MS Access and MS Excel NAA Area Global Reporting - Generate reports for NAA or Global Cost Organization during month end closing and throughout the month using Diamond Systems Reporting SAP MS Access and MS Excel Product Cost Estimates PCE Responsible for reporting and investigation resolution of variances monthly and quarterly Manual Journal Entry processing and Miscellaneous Invoice creation Cost Center Recovery Service Billing and Internal Order Settlement Plant Maintenance Order PMO reporting and error correction Exchange Swaps and Tolls EST reporting Robotics Process Automation RPA Monitor resolve and escalate RPA issues as needed Work Process Documentation and Improvements Responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the teams activities have current work process documentation in a well-organized manner Partner with work process owner to identify work process gaps and improvement opportunities Lead the creation of work process documentation as needed using the standard InfoMap format and ensuring client approval Identify needs for work process changes in the function and adjoining functions Qualifications Qualified CMA CA with 8 years of accounting and costing experience MBA Inter CMA Inter CA with 8-10 years of costing and accounting experience Your Skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook Proficiency with SAP Power BI Power Query or another RPA tool US GAAP and Reporting Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed Able to handle multiple priorities from multiple sources Must be an organized self-starter exhibiting good
