With over seven decdes of experience in the industry, KEC is aglobal leader in the power Transmission & DistributionEPC space. This is the largest business vertical of the company. The company has capabilities to design, manufacture, test, supply and Erect transmission lines on turnkey basis up to 1,200 KV, along with end-to-end solutions for underground HT and EHV cabling works. The company also executes turney EPC projects that involve High Voltage Electrical Switching and Distribution Substations across the globe. The business specialies in concept-to- commission of projects that include. - High Voltage Air Insulated Substations (AIS)up to 1150 kV - Gas Insulted Substations (GIS) up to &65 kV - Hybrid Substations up to 220 kV Responsibilities - You shall design and develop electrical substation infrastructure, ensuring all components meet industry standards and safety regulations. - We expect you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively. - You will perform site assessments and analyze technical specifications to determine the optimal configuration for each substation project. - You shall oversee the installation of electrical equipment in substations, verifying that construction meets design specifications and quality standards. - We expect you to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase, utilizing your expertise to ensure minimal downtime. - You will prepare detailed documentation and reports on project progress, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource utilization. - We expect you to participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential challenges in substation projects and propose mitigation strategies. - You shall provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the latest technologies and practices related to electrical substations. Requirements - You should have expertise in designing and implementing electrical systems for substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - We expect you to manage substation projects from conception through execution, coordinating cross-functional teams effectively. - Your role requires the ability to analyze technical specifications and drawings accurately to guide project development. - You must be capable of overseeing the installation and commissioning of electrical substation equipment, ensuring optimal performance. - We need you to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to electrical systems within substations promptly and efficiently. - You should create detailed project documentation and reports that clearly communicate engineering processes and outcomes. - It's important that you stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions into our substation projects. - We require you to ensure all health, safety, and environmental protocols are strictly adhered to during project implementation.
