Job description Some careers shine brighter than others If you re looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realize their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Service Management Specialist Department Wealth Personal Banking In this role you will Support Jira and Confluence through our internal Jira Service Desk Maintain the operational environments both on-prem Linux and AWSImplementing new customisations through customer service requests Jira project configurations Workflows Fields Screens Permissions etc Confluence content management Space creation data cleaning user macros etc Review and piloting of new apps from the Atlassian marketplace General maintenance of the application and ensuring best practises Implementing Application Upgrades Maintenance of Linux Servers and Postgres Database Performance and reliability increases on infrastructure Provide training where required to users for all our tools Writing Python Shell and Groovy scripts for automation and maintenance Writing Terraform code and maintaining Ansible for deployment Creating Maintaining CI CD Pipelines for automation Close Issues within agreed SLAs Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements Overall 14 yrs exp 4-6 years experience administering supporting Jira and Confluence Worked within a customer facing support or engineering function Atlassian Certifications Scripting knowledge Groovy Python Shell etc Working Knowledge of relational databases PostgreSQL Oracle etc Working Knowledge of Linux RedHat A working understanding of Cloud Platforms ideally AWS Experience working with Jenkins Ansible and Terraform for Code as Infrastructure Be flexible under pressure Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ask why be inquisitive Excellent organisational skills Ability to communicate with non-technical people Be comfortable following Scrum methodology and working within an agile multidisciplinary team You ll achieve more when you join HSBC www hsbc com careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by - HSBC Software Development India
