You will work with Business Intelligence Engineers, Financial Analysts, Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and other Data Scientists, to build new and enhance existing ML models to optimize customer experience. A successful Data Scientist at Amazon has bias for action and operates in a startup environment, with leadership skills, proven ability to build and manage medium-scale modeling projects, identify data requirements, build methodology and tools that are statistically grounded. We need great leaders to think big and design new solutions to solve complex problems using machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to improve our customers experience when using AB. ML-India Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of data scientist experience - 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience - 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience - Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language - Experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
