The role involves SAP PP configuration, integration with MM, SD, QM, EWM, and APO modules, and end-to-end project delivery from blueprinting to go-live. Role and Responsibilities - Implement and configure the SAP Production Planning module to meet business and manufacturing requirements. - Analyze and optimize production planning processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and shop floor control. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PP with Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM), Finance and Controlling (FICO), and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules. - Lead or support end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including blueprinting, realization, testing, and go-live phases. - Create, maintain, and manage master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), recipes, resources, and production versions. - Work with business users to understand functional requirements and resolve process or system issues. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders. - Provide postgo-live support, troubleshoot functional issues, and implement system enhancements. - Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP developers to ensure seamless implementation. - Deliver end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for SAP PP processes. Skills And Experience - 610 years of hands-on experience in the SAP PP module. - Strong expertise in process industries and discrete manufacturing, including Make to Stock (MTS), Make to Order (MTO), job work, subcontracting, MRP, Sales and Operations Planning (SOP), demand management, capacity planning, serial number management, batch management, production leveling, and order confirmations. - Experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementation and support projects. - Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, QM, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), and third-party tools like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). - Ability to write and review functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in PP and PP/QM modules. - Strong communication, client interaction, and stakeholder management skills. - Basic knowledge of the SAP QM module. - Experience leading teams and managing delivery in multi-module environments. - Familiarity with custom developments, Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Business Add-Ins (BADI), and basic ABAP debugging. - Experience customizing the PP module for specific industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, or beverage manufacturing. - Exposure to Implementation, Support, and Upgrade projects. - Hands-on experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA platforms.
