Job Description: - Position: Sales Engineer - Division: WWS - Location Mumbai - Reporting to Business Manager - Water and Waste Water Business - As a leader in providing Water & Waste solutions for the past four decades, WWS SBU pioneers in providing innovative solutions in Water Treatment, Sewage treatment, Effluent treatment and Desalination. We have been providing solutions which helps in conserving resources and preserving environment. Our Recycle & Zero liquid discharge plants for industry & Urban sector are testimony of our strength. - This experience, coupled with our execution strength and technology know-how, helped us to script several innovations to support our clients. - We have installed more than 20,000 Large & Small plants across India, Middle East, South East Asia, SAARC and African countries. - WWS - Products PU (IPG) supports its clients with standard products & medium size treatment plants. SPG have successfully installed more than 20,000 Plants in smallstries, urbanisation sectors like IT malls, Hospitality sector, Commercial complex, Educational institutes etc. - We are looking for energetic people who are willing to give their best and create an impact. Role & Responsibilities: - Registered Company address: Thermax House, D-14 Mumbai Pune Road, Wakdewadi, Pune 411003 Page 2 of 2 - Sales and Marketing of water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants, recycle, ZLD & Desalination - Extensive travelling and approach customer to understand their requirement and generate enquiries - Understand client requirements, coordinate with various operating groups and develop a competitive proposal - Submit offer in consultation with HO coordinators and pursue to convert into order meet targets that have been set in the Annual Business Plan - Proposal management including tender/inquiry evaluation - Track & report sales and marketing activities on a decided periodic basis - Analyze market trends and keep other departments updated about them - Mapping the market and keeping track of the competitors Job Specifications: - Experience : 5-11 years' experience in Water business Critical Competencies of the Job: - Negotiating and Interpersonal skills - Techno-commercial evaluation skills, Contracting knowledge - Excellent Communication, Networking and presentation skills - Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment - Organizing and Planning Skills - Process and result oriented, self-starter, with a winning attitude - Should be able to understand engineering drawings, P&ID's, documentation procedure requirements with ease Experience/Exposure: - Product and technical know-how - Incumbent should be experienced in working on latest technologies in WTP/RO/ Effluent treatment/Recycle/ZLD /Desalination. Incumbent should possess knowledge of process engineering - Engage in techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, EPC contractors for business development in respective regions
