Shape the future of the Internet As a Technical Solutions Architect, you'll support the sales lifecycle by defining Cloud/Linode solutions as presales engineer. You will guide customers Cloud transformation journey strategically and technically, driving adoption and consumption of Linode services. In addition, you'll also be the thought-leader in cloud computing both outside and within Akamai. As a Senior Technical Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for: - Driving Linode opportunities as a public cloud pre-sales engineer. - Owning Linode accounts and sales opportunities from the technical side, working closely with assigned sales counterparts. - Driving customer success and consumption of Linode, as part of the integrated account team. - Bringing cloud professional service delivery experience will be added advantage. - Driving solution innovation by evangelizing new use cases, shaping trends, and influencing roadmaps with global product managers. - Building technical thought-leadership in Cloud Computing/Linode to support overall Akamai business growth. Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will: - Have 7+ years professional experience, including 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles with cloud vendors or integrators. - Demonstrate expertise in architecting IaaS solutions and hold professional-level certifications from AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, or CNCF. - Demonstrate hands-on expertise across at least three domains, including Kubernetes, cloud networking, databases, AI/GPU, or media stacks. - Demonstrate knowledge and hands-on skills in common open-source software such as Apache, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Terraform, etc. - Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, effectively communicating complex technical content to technical and non-technical audiences.
