Position Summary The Medical Equipment Planner is responsible for the planning coordination and management of medical equipment for healthcare facility projects This includes designing layouts selecting appropriate equipment and ensuring that all equipment complies with healthcare standards and regulations The planner collaborates with healthcare providers architects engineers project managers and vendors to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources Candidate willing to work in mumbai or in mumbai should apply Key Responsibilities Medical Equipment Planning and Design Assess and evaluate equipment needs based on healthcare facility requirements Develop equipment lists layouts and specifications based on clinical requirements and budget constraints Ensure that all equipment is appropriately sized meets the required functionality and fits within the designated spaces in coordination with architectural and engineering plans Project Coordination and Management Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to integrate medical equipment planning within the overall project plan Maintain project timelines monitor progress and coordinate equipment delivery schedules with vendors and contractors Identify and mitigate risks troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts related to equipment planning and installation Vendor and Supplier Liaison Research and evaluate equipment options negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Establish and maintain relationships with vendors ensuring that all specifications delivery schedules and installation requirements are clearly communicated Coordinate and oversee the procurement process including budgeting cost control and inventory management Compliance and Standards Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards such as FDA ISO and local building codes and is aligned with the facility s operational goals Conduct audits and inspections of equipment and layouts to verify compliance with safety and infection control standards Stay current on healthcare industry trends technology and regulations impacting medical equipment Training and Support Provide orientation and training to clinical and operational staff on the proper use maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment Develop and distribute user manuals training materials and maintenance schedules as required Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering Healthcare Administration or a related field Master s degree preferred Experience 3 years in medical equipment planning healthcare facility design or a related field Knowledge Familiarity with medical equipment healthcare standards regulatory compliance and facility planning Skills Strong project management organizational and communication skills Proficiency in CAD software MS Office Suite and project management tools is a plus Skills and Competencies Analytical Ability Capable of assessing needs analyzing project requirements and developing cost-effective solutions Attention to Detail Ensures equipment specifications and installations are precise and meet quality standards Problem-Solving Identifies and resolves issues effectively during the project lifecycle Team Collaboration Works well within multidisciplinary teams including architects engineers healthcare providers and vendors Additional Requirements Willingness to travel to project sites as required Job Type Full-time Pay 200 000 00 - 400 000 00 per year Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
