Senior Blockchain Developer (Rust) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Blockchain Developer with strong expertise in Rust and decentralized systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and high-performance distributed applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized applications. - Write high-quality, efficient, and secure Rust code for blockchain components. - Implement smart contracts, cryptographic functions, and distributed ledger tools. - Develop and optimize node infrastructure, P2P networking, and runtime modules. - Collaborate with architecture, product, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable blockchain systems. - Review code, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers. - Research emerging blockchain technologies and propose improvements. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems. Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience in blockchain development. - Strong programming experience in Rust (mandatory). - Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals: - Consensus algorithms - Cryptographic primitives - Peer-to-peer networks - Transaction flows - Smart contract execution - Experience with one or more blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Solana, Polkadot/Substrate, Cosmos, Ethereum)—preferably Rust-based chains. - Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. - Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup. Preferred Skills - Experience with Substrate framework. - Knowledge of WASM, Zero-Knowledge systems, Layer 1/L2 architectures. - Exposure to Rust async runtimes (Tokio, async-std). - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Additional Information - Work Mode: Fully Remote - Must be self-driven with strong communication and documentation skills.
