Job Description

EF&T is Telecommunications and ICT Services company a subsidiary of Australian based company Efiniti Telecommunication Services Ltd - a trusted name in the Telecommunications and ICT sector since 2006. We are looking for an IT Support Officer to join our ICT division team as we embark on an expanding our ITC services. In this role you will be responsible to support internal IT team as well as managing ICT Projects and coordinating with our clients.

Location- Bangalore, India

Role & Responsibilities:

- Install and configure operating systems and other software as well as routinely testing installed software for glitch detection and other issues.
- Support and improve IT processes, ensuring up-to-date procedures are followed.
- Manage incident resolution to minimise business disruption and ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide dedicated on call support and be available through multiple communication platforms with a strong emphasis on overall availability with rapid response times. This may include odd hours (early morning, nights, and weekends) and on occasion, at home support.
- Ensure all systems and services delivered to our client in timely manner, comply with business requirements including monitoring, reporting, training, and documentation.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the various teams, clients, higher management, and all project managers as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Work with clients to review and recommend the right systems and software for their business needs.
- Must be proactive, strategic, team-oriented, and commercially/technically skilled.

Qualification & Technical Skills:

- Degree/Tertiary qualifications in IT Management/Computer Science.
- Experience as L1/L2 IT helpdesk officer in a busy environment, at least 2 years.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL).
- Working experience with ticketing systems (MSP manager, Connectwise, Zendesk).
- AWS or Microsoft Azure certification would be highly regarded.
- Proven track record in IT project management, people management and leadership skills, together with professional standards of planning and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Sound technical knowledge and prior experience of TCP/IP Network Technology
- Windows Desktop Support Environment: Windows 10/11 OS, MS 365 App Suite, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Windows Server Administration including DNS, Active Directory, GPO, IIS, etc.
- Voice products such as Asterisk PBX, Avaya IP Office
- Virtualisation technologies such as VMware vSphere ESXi.
- Disaster Recovery Software and Technology such as Veeam.

Desirables:

- Linux server management experience (in addition to Windows Server).
- Experience with Networking (configuring firewalls/routers/switches)
- Remote support (VPN, RDS, Ncentral)
- Experience with network storage device i.e., NAS (Synology, Thecus)
- Experience with network printers, WAP

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently or in a team
- Detail-oriented, organised, and good at managing time and priorities
- Proactive and solution-focused
