Position Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of our cloud-based Property & Casualty Claims Management System. This role requires a hands-on technical expert who is equally comfortable with architecture and coding as they are with leading a team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern Microsoft technologies, strong leadership qualities, and ideally, domain knowledge in insurance and claims processing.

Job Description:

- Serve as the technical owner of the Claims product line, ensuring high-quality design, implementation, and support of software components.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a cross-functional team of developers, QA, and analysts.
- Architect and develop scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices including microservices architecture, GIT workflows, and continuous integration.
- Experience integrating with third-party insurance platforms or data providers (e.g., CCC, Verisk, LexisNexis).
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Perform and oversee code reviews to ensure coding best practices and maintainable, secure codebases.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Facilitate technical decision-making and promote engineering excellence across the team.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution for complex system issues.
- Support and enhance DevOps processes and cloud infrastructure automation where applicable.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, bringing innovative solutions and ideas to the platform.

Technical Competencies:

- Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Experience designing and building applications in Microsoft Azure, including the use of Azure App Services, Functions, and other PaaS components
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
- Deep familiarity with GIT, branching strategies, and code review practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills; able to lead by example and drive team accountability
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment with fast-moving priorities

Qualification:

Education: - BE / B. Tech / MCA

Experience - 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or architecture role.

Working days: 5 days a week
