Company DescriptionBosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is a 100 owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH one of the world s leading global supplier of technology and services offering end-to-end Engineering IT and Business Solutions With over 22 700 associates it s the largest software development center of Bosch outside Germany indicating that it is the Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India with a global footprint and presence in the US Europe and the Asia Pacific region Key Responsibility Lead the architecture and design of Android-based automotive software solutions ensuring high performance reliability and security Collaborate with product management software engineers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of automotive manufacturers and their customers Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed throughout the software development lifecycle Key Skills Understanding of Android Automotive OS and its features Familiarity with the car framework including display and window management audio concurrent media sessions and power management Knowledge of concurrent multi-user support and its implications on app development Proficiency in Java and Object-oriented principlesProficiency with Android Studio and its tools for debugging and testing Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as CTS ATS VTS Knowledge of how to interact with vehicle-specific components such as sensors and VHAL properties Understanding of how to create user experiences that are safe and intuitive while driving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and resolve issues in complex automotive systems Qualifications Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Electronics Communication Engineering Additional Information9 to 12 years of Experience
