Job Title: Performance Tester

Location: [Gurugram, India]

Experience: 6-8 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experiencedPerformance Testerwho is skilled in usingPerformance CenterandJMeterto design, execute, and analyze performance, load, and stress tests. The ideal candidate should be able to engage with bothbusiness and operations stakeholders to gather performance requirementsandcollaborate with technical teamsto articulate performance issues using appropriate technical terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate withbusiness analysts, operations teams, and product ownersto gather, define, and document non-functional performance requirements.
- Design performance test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on system architecture and business use cases.
- Conduct end-to-end performance testing usingPerformance Center (LoadRunner)andApache JMeter.
- Analyze test results and monitor system behavior to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues.
- Work closely withdevelopment, DevOps, and infrastructure teamsto identify root causes and communicate issues in a clear, technical manner.
- Provide performance test reports with detailed analysis and recommendations for optimization.
- Support continuous performance improvement efforts and contribute to performance benchmarking.
- Develop reusable test scripts and contribute to performance test automation initiatives.
- Participate in performance test reviews, defect triaging, and improvement discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience inperformance testing and engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience withPerformance Center (LoadRunner)andApache JMeter.
- Excellent understanding ofperformance testing types: load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
- Ability to translate business performance needs intotechnical test scenarios and metrics.
- Proficiency in performance monitoring tools and log analysis.
- Familiarity with protocols such as HTTP, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and database-level testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working inAgileandDevOpsenvironments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure toCI/CD pipelinesfor integrating performance tests.
- Knowledge ofAPM toolslike Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
- Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
