Job Title: Sales Coverage Support, AVP

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

- The business are looking for Client Service Executives to support the Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Managers (IMs) in the day to day servicing of clients through providing various non client facing operational support.

Your key responsibilities

- Leading and guiding Client Servicing team members, resolve escalation and issues for team activities
- Provide periodic status updates to stakeholders
- Provide day to day Client servicing of both external and internal Clients by researching account and transaction records to resolve basic discrepancies, and answer questions, process transactions for Clients or provide documentation on Client activities.
- Respond to Client requests and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Facilitate Client directed transactions incl. wires, research requests and assist with account maintenance.
- Prepare customized reports / summaries as needed.
- Organize and maintain files, correspondence and records in accordance with policy.
- Perform account opening for Clients and assist Product Teams such as Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) in managing and servicing their client's transaction and account opening needs.
- Adhering to all regulatory policies and operating procedures, responsible for ensuring proper documentation is on file for all wire requests and following High Risk Media (HRM) Policy.
- Support client requests for trade processing and payments processing in a timely manner
- Management of Term sheets and Factsheets, Prepare the SWIFT and sent to SDC for outward security transfers, Internal security transfers / LOU / Legal, Trade Related Control Team Reconciliation responses etc.
- Ability to understand issues and appropriately escalate to Management in a timely fashion

People Management

- Creates an environment where people management and development is the number one priority. Empowers, manages, coaches and mentors direct reports in the organization
- Drives the achievement of high performance through effective career management of direct reports, providing equitable opportunities, supporting succession planning and talent management processes to ensure continuous development of people capability & delivery of results
- Acts as a management role model, communicating SMART business driven objectives at the beginning of the year, ensuring every team member has regular, continuous and constructive performance reviews, encouraging career development, nurturing talent and fostering diversity
- Proactively manages tough people decisions to ensure people performance is aligned with organization imperatives and needs. Addresses individual performance issues, where necessary, to drive for high performance.

Your skills and experience

- 12 or more years of relevant client service executive/sales support/assistant relationship manager & investment experience.
- Working experience from the Private Banking or Wealth Management business is an added advantage.
- Strong team player, also able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
- Self-motivated and goal orientated and a can do personality, who is able to work in a high paced environment
- Willing to learn and take on additional scope of work with training
- Good communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management skill
- Meticulous, methodical and concise, with a strong attention to detail
- Relevant investment experience, coupled with a good sense of integrity
