Hiring an Associate Welding Engineer. (International Welding Certificate is a must)

Job Title: Associate Welding Engineer

Location: Coimbatore

Industry: Machinery Manufacturing

Experience: 5+ years

Education: BE/Diploma in Mechanical

Job Description:

Ø Knowledge of OHS related to welding

Ø Evaluate designs for welding requirements and ensure they meet structural integrity and quality standards

Ø Create and qualify PQR and WPS for different materials and weld techniques

Ø Design and develop modern welding systems - Cobot, Robot, Conversant with EN, ISO & ASME Codes.

Ø Identifying and resolving issues related to the welding process and weld quality.

Ø Conducting process audit and process revalidation at a defined frequency

Requirements:

Ø Qualified IWE

Ø Able to perform VT, PT, MPT, UT & radiography, having an ASNT level III certificate.

Ø Develop PQR and WPS

Ø Understanding the properties and behaviour of different metals and alloys during welding.

Ø Hands-on experience in various welding techniques, having experience in

Ø implementing welding automation projects
