Enterprise FP&A Senior Manager

Job Description Enterprise FP&A Senior Manager Position Summary Evernorth is seeking an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to partner with key Enterprise shared service organizations to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support. This role will play a critical part in monitoring financial activity across the Enterprise portfolio investment priorities. The Enterprise FP&A Senior Manager will be responsible for coordinating budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and cost tracking of key Portfolio investments, while acting as a trusted advisor to Finance and Business leadership. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities - Consolidation of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and actual results for portfolio investments and line of business allocations - Partner with business leaders to provide data-driven insights that guide investment decisions, portfolio prioritization, and resource allocation. - Manage variance analysis, performance tracking, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability. - Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and transformation programs. - Drive cost optimization strategies across for the responsible spend areas, while balancing innovation and operational stability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align budgets with business objectives. - Maintaining and validation project assumptions in key systems such as Pathfinder and time tracking tools. Competencies / Skills - Excellent communication skills, including an ability to project clarity and precision in verbal and written communication - Ability to effectively deal with multiple organizations and navigate a highly matrixed structure - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills - Results-oriented with focus on value creation and operational efficiency - Strong business acumen including ability to effectively articulate business objectives - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to tease out and probe into what is not being articulated - Effective under pressure, dealing with ambiguity, strong analytical skills, highly focused, team player, resourceful - Business partnership mindset with ability to influence and challenge constructively Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred). - 8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with at least 3+ years in project management financial modeling. - Strong understanding of technology finance (cloud economics, digital transformation, IT investments). - Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Hyperion, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, or equivalent). - Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations. Location & Hours of Work - Full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
