We are looking for a highly motivated real-world evidence RWE Manager of Data Science who has experience in generating insights evidence from claims and EHR real-world data RWD to join our growing Bangalore-based RWE analytics team at Clarivate Working closely with the Director of Analytics you will lead the team to support and collaborate with our North American and European RWD E analytics and consulting teams to deliver Clarivates industry-leading RWD E analytics services The ideal candidate can see solutions in real-world data commercial and clinical datasets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and action for our customers The Senior Manager of Data Science will work closely with leaders across Delivery Products Consulting Solutions and Sales and deliver value to our customers The Senior Manager of Data Science will join a highly talented and fast-paced team managing teams of analytics professionals providing direction to project teams and developing new analytics capabilities What Will You be Doing in this Role You will manage and grow a team of talented data scientists epidemiologists biostatisticians and data analysts to deliver RWE and advanced analytics projects to our U S EU and APAC pharma MedTech biotech and healthcare clients Help guide the development of analytics accelerators and deployment platforms to speed up and scale analytics services Work with the Director and other leads to provide white-glove analytics consulting services defining client needs and ensuring client satisfaction through on-time delivery of high-quality services Identify appropriate data and methodologies to answer client questions and interpreting results Plan organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of clients project goals and objectives Contribute to and guide junior data scientists and analysts in the development of machine learning and other advanced analytics solutions for improving RWD-based analytics and evidence insight generation Be the trusted advisor guide and coach to help your team navigate challenging RWD E analytics problems and client challenges Minimum experience education and skills Advanced degree in epidemiology biostatistics economics mathematics data science or equivalent Demonstrated experience in leading teams to successfully deliver RWD E projects to pharma medtech biotech or healthcare industries At least 7 years of experience in pharma and around 3 years of managing and mentoring data science teams Relevant Experience in MedTech biotech or healthcare industry drawing insights from data working with healthcare and RWD especially medical and pharma claims and EHR experience designing and implementing RWE studies observational studies pharma MedTech commercialization analytics use cases market sizing reimbursement payer mix commercial targeting etc Comfortable with advising and guiding staff on RWE generation methods observational study design and statistical methods Understanding of and experience using advanced analytical concepts statistical modeling techniques predictive and prescriptive analytics Well versed in SQL and Python R is a plus Comfortable with code management best practices e g git workflow Have an innovative mindset and have ideas about leveraging advanced methods AI ML to solve RWD E problems Proficient at partnering with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills About the teamWe are a highly motivated team of 20 analytics biostatistics epidemiology and data science professionals distributed across three countries working together to provide analytics and insights using Clarivates RWD product for pharmaceutical biopharma and medtech clients Hours of Work You will be expected to work on a work schedule 12 00 PM IST to 9 00 PM IST to provide for reasonable hours of collaborative work with the US team and there could be slight extension on as-needed basis We are working in a Hybrid Work mode At Clarivate we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring compensation promotion training and other terms conditions and privileges of employment We comply with applicable laws and regulations governing non-discrimination in all locations Clarivate
