Sales & Event Management Internship opportunity at Samaroh Banquets, CKP Halls, Thane Location: - Besides NKTT College, Ganpat Jairam Kharkar Ali Marg, Kharkar Alley, Thane West, Thane, Maharashtra 400601 . This is an open invite to all Marathi speaking candidates who are looking for an internship opportunity. We are looking for self-driven, resourceful and empathetic individuals who are most probably fresher, on a career break or want a career change. We do not expect you to have specific experience in banquet hall management and sales. However, any experience in the event management, hospitality industry would be a plus. Job specification: - 1. Sales & Lead Generation: Attend walk-in inquiries, understand customer needs, recommend the best options for their events and convert inquiries into clients. 2. Business Development: Reach out to new prospects, follow up on interests, and convert them into bookings. 3. Event management & Outreach: Contact exhibition organizers, event planners, and local businesses to generate bookings for exhibitions, corporate events, and partnerships. 4. Sponsorships & Partnerships: Establish mutually beneficial sponsorships and partnerships with local establishments. 5. Customer Management: Handle communication, upsell services, and manage the customer relationship from booking through the event. 6. Billing & Revenue: Oversee billing and ensure timely collection of payments. 7. Feedback & Referrals: Collect reviews and referrals from clients and guests'post- events. 8. Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and partners to ensure smooth event execution. Ideal candidate: -1. Excellent Marathi speaking candidate(Malecandidatepreferred/Gujratispeaking would be a plus). 2. Full time job - 6 days/week with stipend of 15K per month will be offered 6 months' probation as an intern. Based on the internship performance a permanent role might be offered. 3. Attentive, good listener, empathetic, Calm andunfazed in all situations, including emergencies and customer issues. 4. Is driven to close and win more business and genuinely provide the best experience to all customers. 5. Is flexible and adaptable to deal with all interpersonal situations with customers and partners. 6.
