Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Manager - Industrial Engineering located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

- Manages a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
- Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
- May develop management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
- Demonstrates functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas and industry. Demonstrates proficient knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site. Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: typing, telephones, data entry, HR related and office software to include word processing, spread sheets, and presentation packages.

The experience we're looking to add to our team

- Graduate with minimum 10+ years of Industrial Engineering experience, including supervision.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
