Hierarchy and interactions - Reports to the Program Manager - Typically interacts with other teams including: Cloud Operations, Support, Product Management Degree of independence Individual contributor Location: Chennai, India Missions - Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups - Coach and mentor team members in Agile frameworks and the use thereof - Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration - Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders) - Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests - Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur, supporting the teams in achieving sprint goals - Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, helping teams implement changes effectively - Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity - Encourage self-management and cross-functional collaboration within teams. - Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it - Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders Requirements and Skills - Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. - Familiarity with software development - Excellent communication and servant leadership skills - Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability - Outstanding organizational skills - Strong communication and presentation skills. Technical skills & qualifications - Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field - Scrum master certification is a plus (CSM, PSM or similar) - Azure DevOps - Confluence - Excel Experience - 3+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role
