Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Baker with basic experience in sourdough and bread making to join our growing team. If you have a passion for baking, enjoy working in a creative, hands-on environment, and want to grow your skills in artisan bread production, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of sourdough breads, loaves, and other artisanal baked goods.

Follow recipes and fermentation processes to produce consistent and high-quality products.

Mix, shape, proof, and bake dough using traditional and modern techniques.

Monitor fermentation times, oven temperatures, and proofing conditions.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bakery area.

Assist in inventory management of raw materials.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with the team to develop and improve bread recipes.

Requirements:

Basic experience in sourdough and bread making (6 months 2 years preferred).

Good understanding of fermentation and dough handling.

Passion for artisanal baking and quality craftsmanship.

Ability to work early mornings and flexible shifts as required.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred (but not mandatory):

Previous experience in an artisanal bakery or small-batch production environment.

Knowledge of different flour types, hydration levels, and starter maintenance.
