Job Description SAP FI SME Consultant Responsibilities Configures global settings, enterprise structure, general ledger (G/L), accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and asset accounting. Manages SAP's core financial accounting functions, including bank accounting, reporting, and fixed asset management. Deep functional and technical expertise in modules like G/L, A/P, A/R, and Asset Accounting. Understanding how SAP FI integrates with other SAP modules (like CO, MM, SD, PP, PS) and with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Should have integration experience. FI SME Participates in developing the key functional requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications. Shadow the functionals teams and be accountable for their work. Conducts the business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align information technology with business initiatives. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation times, and form of desired results. Prepare and document functional, system and program specifications using Customer methodology and tools. Financial analysis Budgeting and forecasting Regulatory compliance and reporting -MEC, YEC process, passthrough process Financial modeling Strategic planning Accounting principles Project management skills
