About the Program

The CampusXcelerator Program by Leads & Feeds is a full-stack, plug-and-play student incubation funnel crafted to embed a culture of entrepreneurship within college and university campuses and transform student ideas into real, fundable ventures.

This is a hands-on, execution-driven program that takes students through every stage of the startup journey. From problem validation and prototype development to mentoring by industry experts and access to early-stage funding, CampusXcelerator is built to deliver outcomes.

Backed by industry mentors, investor networks, and structured interventions, the program aims to incubate 100+ startups annually, culminating in quarterly Demo Days, grants, and investment opportunities.

Role Summary

The Student Mentor plays a critical role in shaping the entrepreneurial mindset of student founders in the CampusXcelerator Program. You will provide strategic guidance, industry insights, and practical solutions to student teams, helping them navigate startup challenges with confidence.

This role is best suited for someone with real-world startup experience, who understands the entrepreneurial process, and has a passion for helping others grow. Youll mentor students through ideation, validation, scaling, and leadership development while building systems that support execution and learning.

You will also collaborate with university faculty, departments, and academic leadership to integrate the program into campus activities, ensuring seamless execution, awareness, and engagement across institutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Guide student founders through every stage of their startup journey from idea validation to product-market fit and scaling strategies.
- Conduct one-on-one mentorship sessions, group workshops, and problem-solving clinics tailored to startup challenges.
- Share frameworks, tools, and practical examples that help students tackle operational, financial, and strategic hurdles.
- Provide feedback on business models, pitch decks, and customer discovery processes.
- Connect students with industry experts, investors, and networks that can support their growth.
- Help students build leadership skills, resilience, and a growth-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with university faculty, departments, and academic leadership to integrate the program within campus ecosystems, ensuring coordination, awareness, and alignment with academic schedules and activities.
- Engage with student clubs, societies, and networks to expand outreach and participation.
- Track student progress, challenges, and feedback through CRM systems and reporting tools.
- Lead structured interventions such as Demo Days, workshops, and networking events that add value to the startup community.
- Create learning resources, templates, and content to support students startup journeys.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience working in startups, entrepreneurial ventures, or early-stage businesses (founder/co-founder/team member/advisor).
- Proven understanding of startup challenges ideation, validation, funding, customer acquisition, and scaling.
- Prior experience mentoring or coaching founders or students is highly desirable.
- Exposure to investor networks, accelerator programs, or startup ecosystems is a plus.
- Comfortable using digital tools such as CRM systems, Notion, Slack, Google Sheets/Excel, etc.
- Experience collaborating with educational institutions, faculty, and student bodies to execute programs is highly desirable.
