Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure top performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, and fluid top-ups.
- Conduct advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, HVAC systems, suspension, and other vehicle components.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair is preferred.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., ASE, IMI, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with [specific brands/models if applicable, e.g., Toyota, BMW, EVs].
- Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
