1 Key Responsibilities A Production Process Control Plan and execute daily powder coating production activities to meet targets Ensure correct pre-treatment coating thickness curing temperature and finishing standards Monitor process parameters and adjust equipment settings as needed Maintain proper loading unloading of components on the conveyor booths B Quality Assurance Ensure product quality based on customer specifications and internal quality standards Conduct visual inspections DFT checks adhesion tests and gloss tests Take corrective action in case of defects like orange peel pinholes shade variation or poor adhesion Coordinate with the Quality Department for regular audits and improvements C Material Inventory Management Manage stock of powder chemicals hooks masks and consumables Check powder consumption wastage and initiate replenishment when needed Ensure proper storage and handling of powder as per MSDS guidelines D Manpower Management Allocate work to operators helpers and painters based on skill and requirement Provide training on safety practices equipment handling and process quality Monitor attendance discipline and productivity of team members E Equipment Maintenance Ensure preventive maintenance of powder coating booths guns ovens and conveyor systems Report breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick rectification Maintain logs for equipment performance and service records F Safety Compliance Ensure the team follows safety practices PPE usage ventilation norms and fire safety Maintain housekeeping standards 5S in the coating area Adhere to environmental regulations for waste disposal and chemical handling G Documentation Reporting Maintain daily production reports rejection analysis and powder consumption logs Update process parameters and maintain SOPs and work instructions Provide reports to management on production issues and improvement actions 2 Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of powder coating process pre-treatment and equipment Ability to detect and resolve coating defects Leadership and manpower handling ability Knowledge of safety guidelines and ISO standards Good communication and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills MS Excel ERP entry preferred 3 Qualifications Experience Diploma ITI Degree in Mechanical or related field 3-7 years of experience in powder coating surface treatment or painting operations Experience in conveyorized powder coating systems is an added advantage Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
