Job Description - Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations of the company. - Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. - Manage project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and budget control for construction projects. - Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and vendor payments. - Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filing. - Coordinate with auditors for yearly audits and financial review. - Maintain accurate cash flow and petty cash records. - Use Zoho Books and Tally ERP for all accounting and reporting tasks. - Support management with financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. - Supervise junior accounting staff Requirements Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of construction industry accounting and cost control. - Proficiency in Zoho Books and Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime. - Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and income tax rules. - Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation, budgeting, and MIS preparation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and reporting abilities. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred). - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a construction firm.
