For more details visit: www.iserveu. Requirements Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented professional to lead multiple high-performing software development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise in full-stack Java/Microservices/Cloud environments, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of driving end-to-end product delivery using Agile methodologies. This role requires a strategic leader who can foster a culture of innovation, ensure technical excellence, and effectively manage relationships with product, business, and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership & Management: - Lead, mentor, and manage multiple agile/scrum teams (typically 20+ members), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. - Drive talent development, including identifying high-potential individuals, providing coaching, and facilitating growth opportunities. - Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes for engineering teams. - Ensure business continuity by proactively identifying and removing impediments for the teams. - Project & Delivery Management: - Manage the end-to-end delivery of complex software products and features, from planning and design through development, testing, and deployment to production. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define user stories, manage project scope, milestones, risks, issues, and finances. - Lead project planning, forecasting, and status reporting to senior management and clients. - Champion and enforce Agile Scrum methodologies, leveraging tools like Jira, Rally, and Confluence for effective project execution. - Drive change management processes for successful application delivery into production. - Technical Leadership & Architecture: - Provide strong technical leadership and architectural guidance for full-stack applications, with a deep focus on Java-based technologies (Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Microservices). - Oversee UI development and deployment strategies utilizing modern frameworks (Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS). - Leverage expertise in Cloud Technologies (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) to design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient solutions. - Ensure robust integration through Web Services (RESTful, SOAP, XML, XSD) and efficient application server management (IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic). - Drive automation initiatives for deployment and release processes, integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and Source Control Management (GitHub, ClearCase, SVN, CVS). - Ensure data integrity and efficient database interactions (Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Stakeholder Collaboration: - Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior leadership. - Communicate complex technical concepts and project updates clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. - Collaborate with product teams to align technical solutions with overall product strategy and business objectives. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 16+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a significant focus on software development and project/program management. - Proven experience in a leadership role, managing multiple software development teams (e.g., Technical Manager, Technical Architect, Lead Developer). - Deep expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and designing/implementing Microservices architectures. - Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks, particularly Angular (Angular 4+). - Demonstrated proficiency in Cloud platforms, specifically Amazon AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, and Confluence. - Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and Source Control Management (GitHub). - Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of devising strategies for organizational growth and business performance. Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in a relevant technical or management field. - Experience in data lakehouse environments (e.g., Databricks, AWS data ingestion). - Prior experience in the retail or financial services industries. - Experience with large-scale data platforms and data lifecycle management. - Certifications in Agile methodologies or Cloud platforms.
