Procurement Specialist

Toast is a rapidly growing startup building the first all-in-one restaurant management software platform Toast s Android tablet-based system helps restaurants operate more efficiently and connect with their customer base in new and innovative ways We re growing fast and have a customer base of cafes restaurants bars and nightclubs across the country We work hard and care about our customers success and we have a lot of fun doing it As a startup we move fast and have a lot of opportunities for career growth so if you re passionate about your work and want to be in a fun and growing industry join us You will be helping Toast to grow our business across the US and internationally We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay P2P process ensuring timely and efficient procurement operations The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement systems vendor relationship management and adherence to company policies and regulations Responsibilities SOURCING PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS Review purchase requests and complete the PR to PO cycle within the agreed turnaround time Generate and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions ensuring accuracy in item specifications quantities and delivery details Handle process queries from clients vendors buyers and requestors Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers including pricing delivery schedules and payment terms Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide efficient and cost-effective solutions Manage internal inbox related to vendor setup Execute changes in Zip Netsuite systems and prompt action by vendor buyer requestor as needed Follow up with vendors on goods service delivery and resolve transactional issues with vendors Perform and review SOX reporting for the Procure-to-Pay function Perform internal audit on key business systems on a monthly quarterly basis Run credit card reports and monitor transactions to see if they are complying with the policy Audit the receipts on a monthly basis Perform Zip Netsuite system administration duties as designated Prepare and present reports on procurement activities including spend analysis supplier performance and cost savings Requirements Bachelor s degree required 5 years of procurement operational sourcing or supply chain experience Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills Excellent time management and organizational skills High level of attention to detail Strong written verbal communications and presentation skills Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite Experience with Workday Oracle SAP Netsuite or any ERP system Flexible to work in shifts including US shifts We are ToastersDiversity Equity and Inclusion is Baked into our Recipe for Success At Toast our employees are our secret ingredient When they are powered to succeed Toast succeeds The restaurant industry is one of the most diverse industries We embrace and are excited by this diversity believing that only through authenticity inclusivity high standards of respect and trust and leading with humility will we be able to achieve our goals Baking inclusive principles into our company and diversity into our design provides equitable opportunities for all and enhances our ability to be first in class in all aspects of our industry Bready to make a change Apply today Toast is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive hiring process As part of this commitment we strive to provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities to enable them to access the hiring process If you need an accommodation to access the job application or interview process please contact
