now hiring a Post-Training Lead to own and scale our post-training efforts This is a senior role at the heart of our model development pipeline working on the systems and methods that transform raw pre-trained LLMs into SOTA and powerful products You will play a critical role in driving the technical directions on our post-training strategies and products As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to drive fundamental capabilities lead teams to work on ambitious projects and collaborate broadly across Tether with world-class engineers and researchers to advance open source development and the global AI community We are a fast-paced group focusing on model data and applied research Responsibilities Lead strategy and execution of all post-training including SFT RLHF DPO and SOTA post-training strategies and methods Design robust evaluation pipelines to measure model quality and user experience Work closely with researchers and engineers to translate cutting-edge post-training ideas into production-ready methods Build and manage a team of engineers researchers to scale post-training infrastructure Collaborate across infra data and product teams to ensure fast iteration cycles and smooth deployment Monitor advancements in post-training research and post-training strategies and incorporate novel techniques to improve model capabilities and performance Contribute to the AI research community including publications open-source contributions and participation in conferences Establish best practices and standards for coding model evaluation and experimentation within the team Lead and manage complex projects ensuring timely delivery quality outcomes and alignment with strategic objectives Communicate technical insights and updates effectively to executive leadership stakeholders and external collaborators Promote a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence maintaining high team morale and accountability In this role you ll have the opportunity to drive roadmaps propose your own research plan to advance open-source post-training methods and products You ll provide technical mentorship and guidance to the team and drive execution You will have the opportunity to collaborate with broader teams across Tether Minimum Qualifications PhD MS or equivalent experience Hands-on experience in SOTA post-training projects and solutions 5 years of experience in managing or leading 10 research engineer teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent understanding of an AI-based product lifecycle Hands-on experience in building end-to-end LLM and multimodal foundation models on thousands of multi-node GPUs Proficiency in modern deep learning supervised fine-tuning alignment and reinforcement learning frameworks libraries Comfort working in a fast-moving early-stage environment Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in the SOTA development in large-scale supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning Strong history of delivering innovation in the space of post-training Ability to develop a long-term vision and execute strategies at scale while maintaining a grasp of
