Research Associate

Centre for Robotics Research, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore requires a Research Associate for the ongoing Research Projects and the Co-Innovation Centre established in Collaboration with the I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics, Technology Incubation Hub of IIT Delhi.
This role will involve research & development, training & maintenance of the Centre:
Ideal Skill set for this role is as follows:
- Hands-on Experience on Robot Operating System (ROS1 & ROS2), Simulation Tools such as Rviz, Gazebo is Mandatory
- Strong fundamental knowledge of Electrical/Electronics & Communication. Prior experience working on Embedded Boards such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Nvidia Jetson Nano/Orin, etc, is preferred
- Prior Hands-on experience working on Robots or their sub-systems, such as Interfacing Sensors, Actuators, and Control Systems, is desired.
- Excellent Programming Skills in Python and C/C++
- Willingness to self-learn, re-engineer, develop robots and sub systems for various application are desired
- Highly motivated with Excellent Oral, Written Communication and Presentation Skills
- Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work individually or in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Training the Entrepreneurs/students or Helping them in their projects/Product Development
Desired Educational Qualifications
BE/B.Tech in Mechatronics/Robotics/Electrical/Electronics & Communication, Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering/ME/M.Tech (Not Essential) in above domains
CTC: 3.6 LPA + Equity in the Potential Start-Up Incubated at the Centre (For Extraordinary Candidates With Inclination Towards Entrepreneurship)
