Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic tax leader to head our US Tax service line. The AVP US Tax will be responsible for managing compliance and advisory services across Form 1040, 1120, 1065, and 990, while driving client satisfaction, team development, automation initiatives, and business growth. This role demands deep technical expertise, leadership acumen, and commercial accountability.
Key Responsibilities: Tax Compliance & Advisory - Lead the preparation and review of federal tax returns including 1040, 1120, 1065, and 990.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and monitor changes in US tax laws.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with US-based clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, resolving complex tax issues and delivering high-value insights.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Team Leadership & Development - Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing tax team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
Tax Automation & Process Improvement - Collaborate with technology teams to develop and implement tax automation solutions.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and digital transformation.
Business Strategy & P&L Ownership - Own the profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the US Tax vertical.
- Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting.
- Drive initiatives to achieve business targets, including revenue growth and operational efficiency.
