About Client One of the leading construction equipment dealers in India that serves as a one-stop-shop for all the industries such as construction mining agriculture roadways irrigation ports etc It primarily deals with providing road-laying equipment DG sets power solutions for all types of construction and infrastructure projects Hiring Details Job role Head Taxation Purpose of Job The role holder will be responsible for Direct Indirect tax related matters for the company The individual will ensure to minimize the financial impact of tax while ensuring 100 compliance to all regulatory requirements Job Location - Chennai Experience 15 Years Education Qualification Qualified CA Compensation Benefits - 30 LPA To 35 LPA Taxation a Ensuring no loss on account of taxation b Responsible for audits filing of tax returns periodically on or before the due date both Direct Indirect c Handling Transfer pricing study and assessments d Ensure tax records reconciliation with books e Ensure 100 compliance to tax laws f Handle tax assessments and ensuring completion with no demand or less demand Handle litigation issues with department with the help of tax advisors till the level of tribunal g Advising supporting business teams on taxation matters h Ensuring proper tax rates are maintained in system and followed by everyone i Ensure and check right tariff code and GST rates are applied for all goods Record Management a Ensure mandatory records are maintained from both taxation and Customs perspective Ensure safe keeping of records at all times till the mandated period People Management a Provide strong inspirational leadership recruiting building and developing a highperforming Finance Operations team
