Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Chakan, Pune

Experience: 4+ Years of experience in the relevant field

Qualifications: BE Mechanical or related field

Compensation: 5-8 LPA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer to join our growing team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling packaging machinery, building strong client relationships, and supporting technical demonstrations to meet customer needs. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the packaging and machinery sector.
- Understand client requirements, recommend suitable machinery solutions, and provide pre- and post-sales support.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with the technical team for installation, commissioning, and after-sales service support.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business development strategies.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- 4 8 years of experience in sales of industrial machinery, packaging equipment.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain engineering concepts to customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM tools is an advantage.
- English fluency (spoken & written).
