Highly Skilled Cinematic Video Editor

Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad (Full-time, On-site)

About the Role

Were building a disruptive high-fashion D2C sneaker brand, and were looking for a senior video editor who can define its visual language. This isnt a cut-and-trim role its about turning scripts and raw footage into cinematic, culturally resonant films that people feel and share.

Success in this role means two things:

1. Taking bold, provocative creative ideas and elevating them into unforgettable visual stories.
2. Creating brand ads, campaign films, and reels that dont just look premium, but cut through culture and get traction.

You will report directly to the CMO and play a central role in shaping the creative identity of the brand. Over time, you will lead and mentor junior editors to build an in-house powerhouse team.

Responsibilities

- Translate scripts and creative briefs into high-impact films with emotion, style, and cultural bite.
- Craft edits that hook in seconds, hold attention, and finish with impact across formats (ads, campaigns, reels, shorts).
- Blend footage, music, SFX, motion graphics, and modern transitions into cinematic storytelling.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and production teams to push creative boundaries.
- Maintain consistency of a sharp, disruptive brand identity across all edits.
- Raise the bar for experimentation, pace, and storytelling in every project.

Qualifications

- Proven portfolio of cinematic, story-driven edits in fashion, lifestyle, culture, or high-end digital content.
- Mastery of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects (motion graphics skills a strong plus).
- Sharp taste in music, sound design, and pacing able to elevate footage through rhythm and audio choices.
- Strong grasp of modern editing techniques (seamless transitions, visual effects, layered storytelling).
- No formal degree requirement what matters is skill, taste, and cultural awareness.
- Obsession with visual storytelling, cultural trends, and building work that people talk about.
