Job Summary The Accounts and Finance Head for a NBFC and Jewellers company will manage the financial operations and ensure the organization s financial stability The role includes overseeing financial reporting accounting taxation regulatory compliance and managing relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure funding and maintain credit lines The ideal candidate will ensure robust financial controls compliance with applicable regulations and support the growth of both the NBFC and jewellery businesses Key Responsibilities 1 Financial Planning and Strategy Develop and implement financial strategies to support the business goals of both the NBFC and the jewelry business Prepare and monitor budgets financial forecasts and long-term financial plans Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making by the management team 2 Accounting and Financial Reporting Manage the accounting functions for both businesses ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards Handle the month-end quarter-end and year-end closing processes for both entities 3 Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all financial regulations including RBI guidelines for the NBFC and applicable laws for the jewelry business Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits and manage any regulatory inspections Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes 4 Taxation and Statutory Requirements Oversee the computation filing and payment of all applicable taxes GST Income Tax etc for both businesses Ensure timely compliance with all statutory filings and returns Manage tax assessments and resolve any tax-related issues 5 Finance Management Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure and maintain credit lines Ensure compliance with all banking covenants and maintain effective communication with lenders Monitor and manage interest rates repayment schedules and loan covenants to optimize financial performance 6 Inventory and Asset Management Jewelry Business Oversee the management of inventory valuation costing and controls within the jewelry business Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and inventory 7 Team Leadership and Development Lead and mentor a finance and accounts team ensuring their continuous development Set objectives provide regular feedback and ensure high performance from the team Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment 8 Stakeholder Management Build and maintain relationships with banks auditors regulators and other external stakeholders Prepare financial reports and presentations for the board Support the management team with financial analysis and recommendations Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Experience total work 7 years Preferred
