Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Control Engineer to program and configure control systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of automation devices and providing technical support for field installations and startups.

Role & Responsibilities

- Possess proficiency in PLCs, operator interface programs, and variable frequency drives.
- Have a strong working knowledge of how automation devices operate and interact in manufacturing environments.
- Be able to program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of field sensors, including flow, temperature, pressure, and level transmitters.
- Be capable of providing field service and technical support.
- Possess knowledge of sanitary and industrial processes (e.g., CIP, SIP, DI water) and their application in system design.
- Be involved hands-on in field installations and start-up support for assigned projects.
- Supervise control panel fabrication when required.
- Conduct equipment training sessions for clients and create installation documentation.

Skills Required

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics).
- Proficient in PLC and HMI programming (experience with Allen Bradley systems essential).
- Familiarity with SCADA systems (preferably FactoryTalk) and VBA.
- Understanding of SQL databases and reporting tools (e.g., XL Reporter).
- Willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
- Project management experience is an added advantage
