Job Description The opportunity General IT Applications Development includes analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software including: Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application. Coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. As a IT Compliance Manager, you contribute to the definition, implementation, execution and promotion of the global strategy for risk management and making sure its framework relies on best practices across the IT organization. How You'll Make An Impact - Performs risk analysis, business impact analysis, coordinate risk assessments. - Identifies, qualifies and prioritizes IT risks. - Analyzes, measures, and monitors a breadth of IT risks and facilitate treatment decisions - Recommends, develops and assists in the adoption of IT Risk Management framework. - Develops and leads appropriate trainings to improve IT risk awareness and adoption for a wide range of speaking partners. - Participates in processes for measuring effectiveness and assists in addressing any identified gaps in content or process. - Uses knowledge to suggest innovations across a broad range of new and traditional assessments, analyses and communications. Builds a strong network across the key stakeholder groups to aid alignment during the execution of risk assessment. Facilitates risk committee meetings with (strategic and operational) governance bodies. - Works and maintains strong relationships with external suppliers to support implementation and maintenance of the IT Risk Management process framework. - Manages external suppliers/consultants - Follows applicable governance policy when assessing and supports risks with end users and works in close collaboration with Business and other IT teams to understand requirements related to IT Risk Management. - Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Your background - Candidate should hold a Masters / bachelor's degree in information management systems or business administration with relevant of 7+ years of professional working experience in areas of Risk Management, Audit or Security - Proficiency in use of MS Office and both spoken-written English language is required - Self-motivated and self-organized. Open-mindedness and strong interpersonal skills. - Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection, and analytical skills for a complex project. Excellent communication skill, multi-tasking and time management skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative manner with various functions across the organization.
