Join us and act with purpose every day About the Role Responsible for developing and ensuring the execution of the annual business development strategy for the Education Segment. This role will be responsible for leading the segment's sales strategy development and implementation, resulting in revenue growth from new large accounts. The role will also be required to manage and motivate a diverse and geographically dispersed team and ensure alignment with the Segment Business Objectives. Key Responsibilities Managerial Responsibilities - Strategically allocate sales effort and resources based on segment priorities, ensuring alignment with the sales teams - Ensure deployment and development of highly effective, skilled, cohesive, and motivated sales management and sales teams. - Build Winning Teams & Lead Sales team to achieve revenue & profitability objectives for the segment - Create an environment that promotes integrity, transparency, trust and meritocracy - Manage team effectively, Attract, Develop, and Retain the talent; Build diverse teams - Foster the Sodexo culture in compliance with the Group's core values (service spirit, team spirit, spirit of progress) and its ethical principles (trust, respect for people, transparency, and business integrity). - Establish and maintain strategic alliances with various industry forums within the segment Functional Responsibilities - Drive the Segment's business growth strategy and deploy initiatives for growth effectively - Will be responsible for the acquisition of new logos and growing the existing ones - Effectively analyze sales and market data to identify opportunities and areas of concern. - Attain the Segment's sales and strategic/tactical plans objectives - Analyze overall sales force effectiveness and develop solutions that will improve performance and resource utilization. - Assist in the development of sales goals, training programs, incentive plan design and sales force alignment, among other strategic sales initiatives. - Coordinate & Deliver with the support of cross functional teams & marketing the unique value proposition focused on Quality of Life; and more generally work closely with the support functions and service operations teams - Monitor performance of segment growth (i.e sales growth and profitability) against targets - Drive acquisition of large accounts and establish alliances by guiding design of Quality of Life solutions and aggressively marketing Sodexo value proposition to them - Mentor and coach subordinates to develop their capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for the role Key Requirements - Graduate with any discipline, preferably with an MBA - 15+ Years of experience with 5 years as Head of Business Development, preferably from a Food or Hotel Sales background - Experience in managing diverse teams, Open to extensive travelling - Leading through & amidst uncertainties - Ability to influence and align teams to a common goal - Build industry knowledge bases and constantly update the organization's understanding of changing trends & landscape - Guide & mentor team on objective & Goal Setting & regular monitoring - Develop compelling solutions for prospects, leveraging global domain know-how, with assistance from cross-functional teams Why SODEXO: - Healthy Work-Life Balance - Leadership Development - Global Career Opportunities - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Inclusive Culture - Competitive Compensation - Comprehensive Health & Wellness Benefits
