Recruitment and Onboarding Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for plant-based positions including sourcing screening interviewing and selecting candidates Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective job descriptions Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires ensuring they are well-integrated into the company culture and plant operations Employee Relations and Engagement Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns Proactively address employee grievances and support conflict resolution in a fair and timely manner Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance morale Support initiatives related to workplace safety and health EHS in collaboration with relevant departments HR Administration and Operations Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both physical and in the HRIS Manage HR documentation including employment contracts letters and policy updates Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration Prepare HR-related reports and analytics as required Performance Management and Development Support the performance appraisal process ensuring timely completion and constructive feedback Assist in identifying training needs for plant employees and coordinate training programs Support career development initiatives within the plant Compliance and Industrial Relations IR Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws factory acts and statutory requirements relevant to a chemical plant Assist in maintaining harmonious industrial relations and liaising with worker representatives or unions where applicable Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and HR best practices Support in handling disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy and legal requirements Policy Implementation and Communication Assist in the development implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures Ensure employees understand and adhere to company policies
